I moved to Asheville in 2001 after receiving a degree in Communication Studies from the University of Iowa. Shortly after moving, I purchased my first home in West Asheville. I had always assumed home ownership was beyond my grasp, but surprisingly it wasn’t. This created a desire in me to help people become homeowners. I discovered that the process of purchasing a home is not scary, as long as you surround yourself with professionals you trust.

I have been in the business of real estate for over 20 years. Starting in the mortgage industry, moving to property management, and finally landing with the Bourke Group at Keller Williams. I have seen this industry from several angles. I can walk you through the steps of a mortgage and I understand the struggle and frustration of renting in Asheville. Allow me to use my knowledge to make your purchase as easy as it should be.

When not at work, I’ve been honing my skills as a lapidary artist (the art of cutting and polishing stones) and rockhounding with my two sons in the beautiful WNC mountains. My girlfriend and I are working on visiting all the waterfalls within a two-hour drive. I also enjoy frisbee golf and fixing up my West Asheville bungalow. My community is very important to me, so I sit on the board of The Southern Appalachian Mineral Society and am a member of the WNC Disc Golf Association.

My team and I look forward to helping you achieve your goal of homeownership. Whether it be your first home, your second home, or an investment property, we will be with you every step of the way.
